What’s your favorite movie?
To label one movie as my absolute favorite is difficult because as a family we watch movies together quite a bit. One that we seem to watch several times a year is Princess Bride. Most of us have read the book and all of us have scenes memorized and we usually compete with each other on who gets the most lines correct.
Your idea of a perfect day?
Good days for me always start with a little bit of time hanging out with the Lord before I attempt anything else. It’s amazing how that changes my perspective on even mundane events. Beyond that, a perfect day would include some laughs with Vicki and the girls, and perhaps some time in the woods, on the golf course, or the jet ski. I guess if I was able to put all that together in one day- that would be a perfect day.

What’s your biggest challenge?
I kinda like challenges, so I actually create some just to keep my life interesting but clearly communicating Biblical truths in a practical way each week is a challenge I take very seriously.
If you could vacation anywhere….where would you go?
We have never gone on a cruise, so i think I would like to try it. (My fear is I’d be sick the whole time.)
What is your favorite book (besides the Bible)?
I really enjoy books that speak to leadership and church growth (which I know is boring to many.) However, A few years ago I read Erwin McManus’ Seizing Your Divine Moment. I think I gave away more copies of that book than any other book I have ever read.
